Before you start
- After a reset, your Soundbar's Settings return to their initial status. Settings such as volume, function, sound settings and/or personal information stored on the system may be changed.
- The reset method differs depending on your Soundbar model.
How to reset the Soundbar
Open the expandable section below that corresponds to your Soundbar model. Please refer to your manual for model-specific information if your Soundbar isn't listed below.
HT-SF150
- Press and hold + (volume up) button,
power button, and
input select button on the unit for more than 5 seconds to reset the system. - Disconnect the AC power cord (mains lead), and then plug it back in.
HT-CT290, HT-CT800, HT-G700, HT-SF200, HT-SF201, HT-S350, HT-SD35, HT-S400, HT-SD40, HT-X8500, HT-XF9000, HT-ZF9
- Press and hold the
power and - (volume down) buttons on the Soundbar for more than 5 seconds. - Disconnect the AC power cord (mains lead), and then plug it back in.
HT-RT3, HT-RT4
- Press and hold INPUT, VOL – and
power simultaneously for more than 5 seconds. - Disconnect the AC power cord (mains lead), and then plug it back in.
HT-S20R, HT-S40R
- Press the MENU button on the remote control.
- Select RESET by pressing the ↑ (upper) or ↓ (lower) button.
- When ALL RESET appears on the front panel display, press the ENTER button. The system settings return to the factory default.
HT-A9, HT-A7000, HT-A5000, HT-A3000
- Press the HOME button on the remote control.
- Select Setup → Advanced Settings.
- Select Resetting.
- Select the menu item you want to reset.
- Select Start.
If you cannot perform the reset using the Home menu:
- HT-A9: Press and hold the
power button on the control box for more than 10 seconds. - HT-A7000/HT-A5000/HT-A3000: Press and hold the
power button and - (volume down) button on the bar speaker for more than 5 seconds.
