How to turn off the HbbTV function on RB1 or AZ3 series

If you receive the error message “Internet download is cancelled because the content security cannot be validated” when trying to access the HbbTV feature, please refer to the steps below on how to turn it off.

Note! This solution applies to RB1 and AZ3 models.

To turn HbbTV off for a specific channel please follow the steps below:

1. Go to the channel for which you wish to turn off HbbTV.
2. Press the Home button on the remote control.
3. Select Settings → Digital setup → Interactive Application Setup.
4. Select Application for (Prog.X*), then set it to Off.

*X denotes the channel number. This must be done for each channel where you wish to turn off the HbbTV feature.
