Check the following:
- If the Light sensor is set to On, the brightness of the TV screen changes to match the ambient brightness.
How to access Light sensor settings:
- Press the ACTION MENU button on the remote.
- Select Picture.
- Select Light sensor.
NOTE: The Light sensor is located in the centre of the bottom part of the TV screen.
- If an image is displayed on the TV screen with which screen image retention may easily occur, the function that gradually reduces the screen brightness operates in order to protect the TV from screen image retention. If you change the screen or perform another action that eliminates the risk of image retention occurring, the brightness returns to normal.
If the brightness change is not acceptable, please change [Peak Luminance] setting to lower. That will reduce the brightness change:
Press the ACTION MENU button on the remote.
Select Advanced settings.
Select Peak Luminance and set to Medium or Low.
NOTE: Screens that contain many bright, still images (such as the HOME screen) will enable the use of this function.
