How to disable or exit DEMO mode on my TV?

    Before you start

    How to exit or disable Demo Mode: Select your TV type

    To exit or disable Demo Mode from the settings menu, select your TV model type from the following:

    Android TV and Google TV

    Set Demo mode and Picture reset mode to Off.

    1. Open the  Settings screen.  
      • Using the  Quick Settings button (For models released in 2019 or later)
        1. On the remote control, press the  (Quick Settings) button.
        2. Select  Settings.
      • Using the HOME button
        1. On the remote control, press the HOME button.
        2. Select  Settings. 
    2. The next steps will depend on your TV menu options. The screen varies depending on your TV model. The above is an example.
      • Select System → Retail mode settings → Set Demo mode and Picture reset mode to Off. (Android™ 10)
      • Select Device Preferences → Retail mode settings → Set Demo mode and Picture reset mode to Off. (Android 9)
      • Select Retail mode settings → Set Demo mode and Picture reset mode to Off. (Android 8.0 or earlier)

    Note: Depending on the product, you can also cancel by holding down the TV button on the side of the TV.

    WxxxB series / XxxxB series

    Set Demo Mode and Picture Reset Mode to Off.

    1. Press the HOME button on the remote.
    2. Select ImageSettings on the HOME screen.

    3. Select Image Preferences or System Settings.

      • If your TV model requires you to choose System Settings, select General Set-up, then go to Step 4.

      • If your TV model requires you to choose Preferences, go to Step 4 directly.
    4. Select Shop-front Display Setting.

    5. Demo Mode and Picture Reset Mode are displayed.

    6. Set Demo Mode and Picture Reset Mode to Off.

    W5xxD Series / WD60x_W60xD_WD65x_W65xD Series / WD75x_W75xD Series 

    1. Perform a factory reset. 
    2. After completing the factory reset, the initial set-up screen will be displayed.
    3. During initial setup, select Home on the Location screen.
