    Where to find TV System Information

    The steps to access your TV System Information (e.g. software version, device ID, model name or serial number) using the TV menu vary depending on the type of TV you have. Choose your TV type for more details. 

    Android TV and Google TV

    If your remote control has a HELP button

    1. On the remote control, press the HELP button.
    2. The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
      • Select System information in the Status & Diagnostics or Troubleshooting and system information Category.
      • Select Contact & Support.
      • For W8, X7 series: The model name is displayed in the bottom-left part of the screen.

      The screen varies depending on your TV model. The following are examples.

    If your TV remote control doesn't have a HELP button

    1. Open the  Settings screen.   How to access Settings 
    2. The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
      • Select Settings → Help and Feedback → Help → Status & Diagnostics → System information.
      • Select Apps → Help → System information in the Status & Diagnostics or Troubleshooting and system information Category.
      • Select Help → System information in the Troubleshooting and system information Category.
      • Select Settings → BRAVIA Settings → Customer Support → Contact & Support.

    TVs other than Android TV or Google TV

    TVs released in 2015 and later  

    1. On the remote control, press the HOME button.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select System Settings or Product Support.
    4. Select Customer Support or System Information.
    5. Select Product Information.

    TVs released in 2014

    1. On the remote control, press the HOME button.
    2. Select (?) Help.
    3. Select Customer Support.
    4. Select System Information.

    1. On the remote control, press the HOME button.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select Product Support or Set-up.
    4. Select System Information or Product Information.
