Headphones Maintenance Tips
Please follow the below tips to improve the durability of your Headphones
Here are some tips on how to keep your Headphones in mint condition, and extend the life of your Headphones!
For Headband Headphones (over-ear)

How to protect your headphones from water damage
Tip 1: Whipe and clean to avoid cracking or peeling
To avoid cracking or peeling of the earpads due to long-term contact with bodily fluids, e.g. sweat or oil, always clean them by wiping them with dry soft tools such as
- cotton swabs
- cotton balls
- cotton pads
Avoid using any sharp or potentially damaging materials or tools.
Tip 2: Use a diluted and mild detergent, never solvents!
If your headphones are particularly dirty, soak a cloth in diluted mild detergent, then wring it before wiping the dirty surface.
WARNING! Do not use solvents such as thinner, benzene, or alcohol when cleaning the earpads.
Tip 3: Keep them safely stored
Always store your headphones in a case or protective bag when not in use.

For Truly Wireless / In-Ear Headphones
Tip 1: Keep them clean
Always clean your headphones by wiping them with dry soft tools such as
- cotton swabs
- cotton balls
- cotton pads
to keep them in optimized condition after each usage. Avoid using any sharp or potentially damaging materials or tools.
Tip 2: Use a diluted and mild detergent, never solvents!
If the Headphones is particularly dirty, soak a cloth in diluted mild detergent, then wring it before wiping the surface of the Headphones.
WARNING! Do not use solvents such as thinner, benzene, or alcohol when cleaning the earbuds.
Tip 3: Gently plug and unplug (wired earphones)
Take care while plugging & unplugging from the Headphones Jack
- While unplugging the Headphones from the jack, make sure to grip the plug and gently pull the plug out from the device.
- Don't yank the wire to unplug your headphones. It can damage the wire and the device's audio jack socket.
Tip 4: Earwax is a thing
Keep In-ear Headphones clean from dust earwax/water entry.
Remove the earbud and clear the area of any grime or earwax.
Tip 5: Be careful of charging and moisture

Firmly close the USB port cover after disconnecting from the charger. If there is a notch on the USB cover, ensure the notch is well inserted into the bracket-Hole of the USB port.
- Waterproof devices must be completely in dry condition before connecting with the charger.
