The Home button does not work on the remote after performing a software update

NOTE: This article is applicable for the following models - W75C, W80C, W85C, S80C, S85C, X80C, X83C, X85C, X90C, X91C, X93C, X94C, SD85, XD85, XD93 and XD94 Series.

You may be experiencing issues using the Home button on your remote, or accessing the home menu.

To resolve this issue, please try one of the following procedures.

Clear Cache:

  1. Press the Help button on the remote
  2. Scroll down and select Settings (the last icon located on the second row named "How to use your TV")
  3. Select Configuring the TV
  4. Select TV
  5. Select Jump to the Setting Screen
  6. In this option, Select Apps
  7. Select System software update (located on the second row named "System app")
  8. Select Clear cache

Factory data reset:

NOTE: Factory reset will erase all your personal settings.

  1. Press the Help button on the remote
  2. Scroll down and select Settings (the last icon located on the second row named "How to use your TV")
  3. Select Configuring the TV
  4. Select TV
  5. Select Jump to the Setting Screen
  6. Select Storage & reset
  7. Select Factory data reset
  8. Select Erase everything
