The TalkBack setting for Sony's Android TV is disabled or missing after performing a software update

    • I cannot find the TalkBack settings.
    • After updating the software, the TalkBack function is disabled.

    It may be necessary to turn on the TalkBack setting by following the steps below:

    1. Press the HOME button on the remote control.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select Accessibility in the System Preference category.
    4. Select Services.
    5. Select TalkBack.
    6. Select State and set to On.

    NOTES:

    • For the TalkBack setting to appear after performing a software update, it may be necessary to restart the TV by holding down the Power button on the remote control for at least 5 seconds.
    • An Internet connection is necessary to use TalkBack.
