A message stating "A new software is available for the device" appears every time I run the app.

This indicates that the firmware of the Smart B-Trainer is not updated to the latest version.

Update instructions for Windows

1. Run the downloaded file.
   
   NOTE: If you use Internet Explorer, you can run the file by selecting the "Run" button that appears when downloading. If you use any other browser than Internet Explorer, after downloading the file, double-click the file to run it.
   
   The "Software update tool"will be started.
   
2. Connect the Smart B-Trainer to your PC.
   
   When the software update tool is started, a message appears asking you to connect the device. Connect the device and press the "OK" button.
   
   NOTE: After connecting the device to your PC using the cradle, it may take some time for the device to be recognized.
   
3. Read and agree to the license agreement content to continue.
   
4. Follow the on-screen messages/instructions to finalise the update. When the firmware update is completed, the new version will appear. Click the "Finish" button to close the software update tool.
   
5. After updating is completed, check the firmware version in the app.

Update instructions for Mac OS

1. Run (Extract) the downloaded file.
   
   NOTE: If you use Safari, the downloaded file will appear under "Downloads" in the Dock. Click the file to run it. If you use any other browser than Safari, after downloading the file, double-click the file to run it. After running the file, the file will be mounted and the "Software Update Tool" will appear.
   
2. Run the Software Update Tool.
   
   Double-click the Software Update Tool to run it. Depending on your Mac OS settings, a warning message may appear that requires a user name and password. If such a message appears, follow the instructions on screen.
   
3. Connect the Smart B-Trainer to your PC according to the instructions.
   
   Check the screen messages and if a message stating "connect the device to your PC with a USB cable" appears, connect the device with the cradle to your PC. After it is connected and recognised on your PC, the software update tool will automatically move to the next screen.
   
   NOTES:
   
   • If the device is already connected to your PC, it must be disconnected (removed from the cradle) once according to the instructions on screen.
   • After connecting the device to your PC using the cradle, it may take some time for the device to be recognized.
     
4. Check the update notes and agree to continue.
   
5. Follow the on-screen messages/instructions to finalise the update. When the firmware update is completed, the new version will appear. Click the "Finish" button to close the Software Update Tool
   
6. After updating is completed, check the firmware version in the app.
