Transferring songs to the Smart B-Trainer (Windows & Mac OS)
Follow the below procedure to transfer songs to the Smart B-Trainer on a computer using:
Please use Media Go to transfer songs to the Smart B-Trainer. Note the following regarding installing, using and precautions after transferring songs with Media Go.
Installing Media Go
- Attach the device to the cradle (included with the product) and connect it to your computer with a USB cable.
- Open the "B-TRAINER" folder on your computer.
Windows 7 or earlier: From the Windows Start menu, click "Computer" and open the "B-TRAINER" folder.
Windows 8: From the "Start" screen, select "Desktop" and open the "Explorer". From the "Computer" list, open the "B-TRAINER" folder.
Windows 8.1: Open "Explorer" from the "Desktop". From the "PC" list, open the "B-TRAINER" folder. - Double click "FOR_WINDOWS".
- Double click "MediaGo (.exe)" found inside the folder. The setup file is extracted. Depending on the version of Windows, the "User Account Control" dialog screen may appear. If it happens, click "Yes".
- Follow the on-screen instructions to install Media Go. When the installation is complete, press the "Complete" button and Media Go will automatically start.
Transferring songs to the sport device with Media Go
- Attach the device to the cradle (included with the product) and connect it to your computer with a USB cable. Then, start Media Go.
- Go to "Library" - "Music", select the contents to transfer and drag and drop them to the device (SSE-BTR1). Media Go determines the data type according to the file extension and transfers the file to the appropriate folder.
NOTE: If you transfer music files without using Media Go (for example by using Windows Explorer and dragging & dropping files to the sport device), automatic music selection and playback is not enabled because the tempo of each song has not been retrieved. In such a case, you can enable automatic music selection/playback by retrieving the tempo information of songs by selecting "Device Information" > "Retrieve song information" from the app menu.
Please use Content Transfer for Mac to transfer songs to the Smart B-Trainer. Note the following regarding installing, using and precautions after transferring songs with Content Transfer for Mac.
NOTE: When transferring songs to the sport device, make sure to use the Content Transfer for Mac tool that comes with the device. If a different version of Content Transfer for Mac is used, the sport device may not be recognized in Content Transfer for Mac.
Installing Content Transfer for Mac
- Attach the device to the cradle (included with the product) and connect it to your computer with a USB cable.
- Double click "B-TRAINER" which appears on the desktop.
- Double click "FOR_MAC".
- Double click "ContentTransfer.pkg". The installer will start.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to install Content Transfer for Mac. When the installation is complete, Content Transfer for Mac is added to the list of applications in Finder.
- Double click Content Transfer for Mac in Applications to start Content Transfer for Mac.
Transferring songs to the sport device with Content Transfer for Mac
- Attach the device to the cradle (included with the product) and connect it to your computer with a USB cable. Then start Content Transfer for Mac.
- Display the music contents to transfer using iTunes, Finder or another application.
- Select the contents to transfer and drag and drop them to Content Transfer for Mac.
- When "Complete" appears, the transfer is complete.
NOTE: If you transferred music with Content Transfer for Mac, automatic music selection and playback is not enabled because the tempo of each song has not been retrieved. In such a case, you can enable automatic music selection/playback by retrieving the tempo information of songs by selecting "Device Information" > "Retrieve song information" from the app menu.
