What is the difference between Daydream and Idle TV standby?
There are a few differences between "Daydream" and "Idle TV standby" on Sony's Android TV.
Daydream
A screen saver which will start if there is no operation for a certain length of time, protecting your TV from screen burn. It will not start while TV broadcasting or video is being viewed.
Idle TV standby
A timer function for turning off the TV if there is no operation for a certain length of time. This will happen even if TV broadcasting or video is being viewed.
