Unable to complete the software update when updating through the Internet
There are various factors like connection and server errors that may prevent the television to complete the software update from being downloaded properly from the website.
Follow these steps to troubleshoot this issue:
- Then unplug the power cable and plugin again. Or perform the RESET as below
Refer to the following FAQ for instructions on how to RESET. - Confirm the network status of your television by following the steps below:
- For Android TV

- Press the HOME button on the remote.
- For Android 8.0 only: Select App.
- Select HELP.
- Select Internet connectivity symptoms.
- Press the HOME button on the remote.
- For 2014 models

- Press the HOME button on the remote.
- Go to Settings.
- Select Network.
- Select Network Setup.
- Select View Network settings and status.
- Select Check Connection.
- Select Yes.
NOTE: Be sure that the local and internet access on the television are stable and the Physical Connection or Wireless Device on TV feature is set to OK or Found.

NOTE: If a message such as New software version is not detected, appears, wait for a while, then try to update the software again.
