BRAVIA does not appear on the screen of a Screen mirroring or Wi-Fi Direct compatible device
Check the following if BRAVIA is not displayed on the screen of your device that is compatible with either Screen Mirroring feature or Wi-Fi Direct feature:
For devices that are compatible with Screen mirroring
Please make sure that the input of the TV is set to Screen Mirroring .
For devices that are compatible with Wi-Fi Direct
- For 2014 models:
Please make sure that Built-in Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct settings are set to On. These settings can be changed from the menu of the TV. - For Android TV:
Please check Wi-Fi Direct is set to On by following: -
- Press the Home button on remote and select Settings.
- Select Network in the NETWORK & ACCESSORIES category.
- Select Wi-Fi Direct
- Select On.
After checking, please select Wi-Fi Direct Settings.
If the steps above did not resolve the issue, follow the steps below:
- For 2014 models:

- Make sure the TV and wireless router (access point) are not connected using a 12 or 13 channel frequency. If the wireless channel are set to that frequency, BRAVIA will not appear on the compatible devices.
NOTE: Contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) for assistance with verifying this setting. - Change the wireless channel frequency of your wireless router between 1 ch and 11 ch.
NOTE: Refer to the manual of your wireless router for detailed information regarding how to change the wireless channel frequency.
- Make sure the TV and wireless router (access point) are not connected using a 12 or 13 channel frequency. If the wireless channel are set to that frequency, BRAVIA will not appear on the compatible devices.
- For Android TV:
If the TV is connected to the network by wired LAN, please change the connecting channel between 1ch-11ch by following: -
- Press the Home button on remote and select Settings
- Select Network in the NETWORK & ACCESSORIES category.
- Select Wi-Fi Direct
- Select Advanced settings
- Select Band setting
- Select Manual.
- Select a Channel.
