How do I add additional panes to my Home screen? (Android 9 or Android 10)

• Xperia Home app
• Android 10
• Android 9 (Pie)

Solution

To add a pane to your Xperia Home screen

1. From the Home screen or Application screen, touch and hold any item that you want to add to the new pane. 
2. Drag the item to the very right side of the display. An additional pane will automatically appear.
3. Continue to drag the item to the right and drop it in the additional pane. 

To add an empty pane to your Xperia Home screen

1. Touch and hold an empty area on your Home screen until the device vibrates.
2. Swipe the panes all the way to the right or left, then tap  (Add pane icon). 

NOTE: In Xperia 1, Xperia 5, Xperia 10, Xperia 10 Plus, Xperia 10 II, Xperia 1 II, and Xperia 5 II it is not possible to add an empty pane to the Home screen.
