    How to add a Microsoft Account



    A Microsoft Account is an online account that will allow the user to download apps from the Windows Store and automatically sync settings between different PC to obtain the same look and feel including settings like browser favorites and history.

    1. Launch Charms by placing the cursor to the top right hand or bottom left hand corner
      Note: Shortcut to Charms is “Windows key + C”
    2. Select “Settings”
    3. Select “PC settings”
    4. Select “Users”
    5. Select “Add a user”
    6. Input your Microsoft email address
      Select “Sign up for a new email address” if you do not have a Microsoft email account
    7. Select “Next”
    8. Select “Finish”
    9. The Microsoft Account is now set up.  Please restart the PC  in order to log in
