Earbuds cannot be charged or do not turn on. (WF-H800, WF-SP800N, WF-XB700)

Please check the following and see if the condition improves.

Set the headphones in the charging case and close the lid.
Insert both sides of the headphones into the charging case connected with the USB cable, then check if the headphones indicator (red) lights up.
If the indicator does not light up, close the lid and wait about 30 seconds. Then open the lid and check that the indicator (red) on the headphones is lit. -
Check that the earbuds or arc supporters (only available for the WF-SP800N) are attached properly to the headphones.
If the arc supporters are not attached properly, the headphones may not charge because of a bad fit.When attaching the earbuds:
Be sure to firmly insert the earbuds all the way. Do not attach the earbuds in a loose or skewed manner.
NOTE: The image below is an example of WF-H800.
When attaching the arc supporters (only available for the WF-SP800N):
Align the protruding part of the headset with the recessed part of the arc supporter (align A illustrated in the image), and firmly insert the arc supporter all the way. Do not attach the arc supporter in a loose or skewed manner.

Charge the headphones using the supplied earbuds attached.
If you are using non-Sony earbuds, the headphones may not be charged with the charging case. -
Reset the headphones.

Charge the charging case with the supplied USB Type-C cable.
The remaining charge of the rechargeable battery of the charging case may be low and therefore unable to charge the headphones:

When the headphones' indicator (red) lights up and immediately turns off, and the headphones power turns off when the headphones are set to the charging case.

When the headphones' indicator (red) doesn’t light up on and the headphones power doesn’t turn off even if the headphones are set to the charging case.
NOTE: Do not use a commercially available charging cable, or the headphones may not charge.

Wipe the terminal of the headphones and charging case with a dry soft cloth (such as those for commercial glasses).
If the terminal is dirty, charging may not be possible. It is recommended that you regularly clean the terminal.

Charge in an environment at 5°C - 35°C (41°F - 95°F).
If the temperature is low or high, charging may not be possible.
