    Walkman charging issues

Check the following points if your Walkman takes a long time to charge fully or doesn't charge fully:

    • Use the USB Type-C cable supplied with the Walkman player. If you use another cable, charging may take a long time or may not fully charge the player.
Note: The average charging time is approximately 4.5 to 5.5 hours, depending on the model. For more specific charging specifications, refer to the Help Guide for your model.
    • Charge the Walkman battery at ambient temperature between 5 ℃ 5 °C and 35 °C (41 ºF to 95 ºF).
Note: When the inner temperature in the player is high, the player will not fully charge. This is a specification to save the battery life. We recommend charging the player at a moderate temperature to prevent temperature rise.
    • When the ambient temperature exceeds the recommended range,  (a temperature abnormality icon) appears on the status bar, and charging is terminated.
    • When the Battery Care function is turned on, the maximum charging capacity is limited, and the battery will not fully charge. This is not a malfunction.
