DSEE HX Auto function doesn't do anything or has no effect
DSEE HX will not work if the Equalizer setting is enabled, even when DSEE HX is set to Auto.
When using the DSEE HX Auto setting, be sure to turn off the Equalizer setting using the "Sony | Headphones Connect" app.
Tip: The DSEE HX logo is displayed on the "Sony | Headphones Connect" app screen if DSEE HX is enabled.
