I didn’t say "Ok Google" but the Google Assistant came up

    If "Ok Google" comes from the TV, for example, during a commercial, the TV's built-in microphone might react to it. Press the BACK button on the remote control to cancel the Google Assistant ready status.

    Check the TV position setting

    Follow the steps below to check the TV position setting:

    1. On the remote control, press the HOME button.
    2. Select  Settings.
    3. Select Sound or select Display & Sound, and then select Sound.
    4. Select TV position.
    5. Select Table-Top stand or Wall Mount.

    NOTE: Google Assistant may also pop up after hearing "OK Google" from a TV broadcast if the Accessibility (Screen Reader or Talkback) setting is On


    How to stop the Screen Reader or TalkBack function

    To stop the Screen Reader or TalkBack function, follow the steps below.

    1. On the remote control, press the HOME button.
    2. Select  Settings.
    3. The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
      • Select Device Preferences → Accessibility → Screen reader or TalkBack.
      • Select Accessibility → Screen reader or TalkBack.
    4. Set Enable to Off.
