How to activate the Google Assistant function on your headphones

    How to activate Google Assistant with the touch sensor or Custom button 

    The following examples show what operations you can perform using the touch sensor or the Custom button on your headphones. If model-specific information is required to complete each step, check your model's Help Guide or manual. Manuals are posted on the support website.

    WF-1000XM4

    • Hold your finger to the touch sensor (A) to input a voice command.

    • Release your finger to finish the voice command. If no voice command is detected while holding your finger to the touch sensor, notifications are read out when your finger is released.

    WH-1000XM4

    • Press the CUSTOM button to use Google Assistant.

    • Press and hold the button to input a voice command.
    • Press the button twice quickly to cancel the voice command.
    • Press the button once to read out the notification.

    WI-1000XM2

    • Press the C (custom) button to use Google Assistant.
