Error: Device registration failed. Check settings of the device to be registered and try again.
The error occurs when the TV SideView application cannot register the Blu-ray Disc player. This is due to the specifications for TV SideView registration. Please ensure your Blu-ray Disc player meets either one of the following conditions for registration:
- The Blu-ray Disc player should display the name of your device such as phone or tablet in the Registered Remote Devices setup item, under Network Setting of the Xross media bar.
- The Blu-ray Disc player should be in the Screen Saver mode.
