What is the difference between screen mirroring and one-touch mirroring

Applicable Products and Categories of This Article

Screen mirroring is a feature that displays the screen of a smartphone or other compatible device on the TV screen with Miracast technology . This can be done with an MHL compatible phone using an MHL cable or using compatible Sony Xperia smartphones using the manual Screen Mirroring connection. Manual screen mirroring does not require a cable or a wireless router.

One-touch mirroring is an app that allows information to be sent wirelessly using a compatible smartphone or other wireless device with Near Field Communication (NFC) technology . The information is sent to a TV with a One-touch Remote Control or a Touchpad Remote Control and built-in NFC.
