The camera settings did not save after turning off the power

The camera setting may be lost if the battery is removed from the camera immediately after the camera has been turned off. It takes approximately 5-10 seconds for the settings to save after powering off the camera. To save settings, leave the battery pack in the camera for 10 seconds or longer after you turn off the camera and the viewfinder or monitor has shut off completely.

NOTE: The camera stays in standby mode for about 5 to 10 seconds after the power is turned off so that the camera can be started quickly when it is turned on again. The camera saves the settings after that period of time.
