How to activate or deactivate Demo Mode on the Reader™ Digital Book

Activate Demo Mode

1. Press the Home button.
2. Tap the Settings tab.
3. On the Settings tab, tap Device Shutdown.
4. In the Device Shutdown screen, tap Yes.
5. Once the Reader Digital Book has shut off, slide the POWER switch on and then simultaneously press and hold down the Next Page Turn button and the Size button.
6. The Reader Digital Book will restart automatically. Continue to hold the 2 buttons until the home menu appears.
7. Within 1 to 2 minutes, the demo slide show will begin and will rotate images every 2 seconds.

   NOTES:

   • The user can interrupt the slide show to experience the touch screen display but cannot save any drawings or inappropriate language.
   • While in Demo Mode, the Reader Digital Book cannot shut down from the Settings menu.

Deactivate Demo Mode

1. Turn the Reader Digital Book off.
2. On the bottom of the Reader Digital Book, using a thin object such as a paper clip, press the RESET button.
3. Once the Reader Digital Book has shut off, slide the POWER switch on and then simultaneously press and hold down the Next Page Turn button and the Size button.
4. The Reader Digital Book will restart automatically. Continue to hold the 2 buttons until the home menu appears.

   NOTE: The device is now out of Demo Mode and will shut down from the Settings menu.
