Amsterdam – 9th September 2016: At IBC, Europe's largest broadcast show to be held in Amsterdam from the 9th to 13th September, Sony Professional is announcing it has been chosen by some of the key AV players in the French market: Video Plus a leading French audiovisual equipment rental company, the Parliamentary Channel for the National Assembly, and AMP Televisual.

Accelerating 4K uptake in the French market

Video Plus
​ A long-standing Sony customer, Video Plus is a European leader in Professional AV equipment sales and rental. To ramp up the rental market for live production, the company has renewed its confidence in Sony by acquiring new media solutions at the cutting edge of technology, that meet the growing demand from broadcast channels and 4K providers. Video Plus now has a complete Sony 4K production line composed of several HDC-4300 cameras, BVM-X300 monitors and PWS-4500 4K / HD multi-port AV storage unit for IP network.

The Parliamentary Channel - National Assembly (LCP AN)
​As a parliamentary, political and a citizen channel, LCP deciphers and analyses the daily parliamentary news and French politics. Like France Televisions, LCP AN wanted to equip its audiovisual equipment crews with leading technology, the latest generation of XDCAM cameras. The chain now has several units of PXW-X200 cameras allowing the TV channel to seamlessly transition to HD with a media solution that is both ergonomic and interoperable.

The OB Truck "Millennium Signature 12" makes its show debut at IBC 2016!
​ Furthermore, at IBC 2016, the production company AMP VISUAL TV alongside its integrator VIDELIO Media, will exhibit its latest OB Truck, the "Millennium Signature 12", the largest 4K OB truck in Europe. An opportunity not to be missed to see this technological jewel in the outdoor area, a few steps away from the Sony stand (Elicium), and to discover the very latest Sony 4K solutions in the OB truck. This includes: Sony 4K HDC-4300 cameras (up to 40 cameras in HD production and over 20 cameras in 4K configuration), a XVS-8000 4K switcher, and 5 BVM-X3004K reference monitors.
​ Flexible with over 40 work stations and several working areas, the OB truck was used during the 24h of Le Mans race.
