Sony strengthens its Digital Workflow Specialist Programme

Specialist channel partners help Sony Professional Solutions Europe communicate its IT based solutions offering to a wider market.

Basingstoke, 22nd October, 2015: At IBC 2015, Sony Professional Solutions Europe announced the Digital Workflow Specialists Programme; a new accreditation for a selection of specialist channel partners. These specialist partners currently provide sales and support for Sony’s Media Navigator as well as Optical Disc Archive solutions. There are currently 25 dealers across 12 European Countries who have received specialist training from Sony, and are a part of a growing programme, with the latest addition being Spanish based Trigital Infografica SL.

The Digital Workflow Specialist Programme was introduced to further strengthen Sony’s position as the leading provider of IT based Solutions to the AV Media industry, and to provide a more connected sales journey for the customer. In addition to the existing network of media partners Sony currently uses to reach a wider market, the Digital Workflow Specialists are channel partners who are handpicked by Sony for their skillset and solutions based philosophy. These small to medium sized system integrators have many years’ experience in project based selling, each have their own dedicated support staff able to handle system design, deployment and on-going support.

The Media Solutions team at Sony are constantly looking at how they can add value to the product range as well partnering with leading third party solution providers, such as StorageDNA, Xendata and Blue Lucy. The introduction of the Digital Workflow Specialists channel will enable Sony to provide its customers with end-to-end workflow solutions, through the seamless integration between Optical Disc Archive and Sony’s new asset management system, Media Navigator.

The programme is expanding and Sony is looking to train more channel partners with its solutions, find your local dealer here.
