Easy and flexible personalisation
BRAVIA Professional Displays offer a variety of uses from presentation displays to digital signage in a diverse range of environments. Sony understands that needs and requirements will vary from user to user, and as such has developed personalisation features to enable customers to make the very most of their content;
• Built-in HTML5 platform: allows users to create dynamic digital signage content – including text, graphics, video, live web feeds and IPTV content – and send it to displays across the globe. No dedicated hardware players are needed, just a BRAVIA display and internet access
• Hotel Mode: display settings can be easily customised through Hotel Mode to tailor and store advanced settings and features for specific requirements from hospitality suites to spa facilities. These settings can be copied and shared from display to display using a USB flash drive
• Smart displays: through the Android platform, users can simply create or download applications to customise their BRAVIA display for sharing content, video conferencing and much more
• U-Touch overlays: BRAVIA Professional Displays can quickly be turned into an interactive touchscreen with U-Touch overlays. Designed to fit seamlessly onto the BRAVIA screen, U-Touch is simple to set up and allows six multi-touch points to enable audience interaction
User-friendly features for various business environments
The slim and lightweight displays are easy to install, VESA compliant, and offer a wide range of mounting options to integrate into any corporate, retail or education environment. Google Cast streams content from professional and personal devices – for example an Android or iOS device, or a laptop – and casts content onto the BRAVIA screen. And with one-touch mirroring users can control the BRAVIA Professional Display through a smartphone to swipe, enlarge, move and select content on the screen for all to see.
The BRAVIA displays’ integrated media player effortlessly programmes and plays, virtually any media file format (including 4K content on BRAVIA Professional 4K displays) via USB in a wide range of media formats.
Energy Efficiency
The updated BRAVIA range also provides many energy saving features to help businesses reduce costs. The displays’ LED backlights consume less power than conventional fluorescent backlighting, reducing running costs. Frame dimming technology intelligently analyses picture content, adjusting backlighting to save even more energy.
In addition to these many benefits, Sony customers also get industry leading peace of mind. All Sony BRAVIA Professional Displays come with a 3-year PrimeSupport pack. In addition, if there is ever an issue with a user’s BRAVIA Professional display, Sony will send a replacement at absolutely no extra cost, even for a 75’’ 4K model. This is all part of Sony’s enhanced PrimeSupport service. This means no dark screens, no time wasted waiting for repairs and no lost revenues.
“Sony’s new range of BRAVIA Professional Displays is our strongest line-up yet,” said Thomas Issa, Display Product Manager at Sony Europe. “Our ambition is to keep transforming the market and bring simplicity to our users, whether they are looking for corporate, education or signage applications.
