How to connect the HDR-AS15 Action Cam to a mobile device to copy or upload images.

Before You Begin

• If you haven’t already downloaded Imaging Edge Mobile (the successor to PlayMemories Mobile), install it for free from your mobile device’s app store before proceeding.
• Ensure your camera has sufficient battery power before starting the process.

For HDR-AS15 Action Cams with Software Version 2.00 or Earlier

Step 1: Prepare the Camera

1. Insert a memory card containing still images or movies into the camera.
2. Press the NEXT button to turn on the camera.
3. Press the NEXT button repeatedly until SEND is displayed.
4. Press the ENTER button.

• The message PREP will briefly appear, followed by AWAIT. This indicates that the Wi-Fi function is activated and ready to connect.

Step 2: Connect to a Mobile Device

For iOS Devices

1. Open Settings on your mobile device.
2. Select Wi-Fi and choose the camera from the available networks.
3. Enter the password found on the sticker attached to the camera’s operating guide
4. Launch Imaging Edge Mobile.
5. Your mobile device is now connected and ready to transfer images or movies.

For Android Devices

1. Launch Imaging Edge Mobile.
2. Select the camera from the available devices.
3. Enter the password found on the sticker attached to the camera’s operating guide
4. Your mobile device is now connected and ready to transfer images or movies.

For HDR-AS15 Action Cams with Software Version 3.00 or Later

Step 1: Prepare the Camera

1. Insert a memory card containing still images or movies into the camera.
2. Press the NEXT button to turn on the camera.
3. Press the NEXT button repeatedly until MOVIE is displayed.
4. Press the ENTER button.

Step 2: Connect to a Mobile Device

For iOS Devices

1. Open Settings on your mobile device.
2. Select Wi-Fi and choose the camera from the available networks.
3. Enter the password found on the sticker attached to the camera’s operating guide
4. Launch Imaging Edge Mobile.
5. Your mobile device is now connected and ready to transfer images or movies.

For Android Devices

1. Launch Imaging Edge Mobile.
2. Select the camera from the available devices.
3. Enter the password found on the sticker attached to the camera’s operating guide
4. Your mobile device is now connected and ready to transfer images or movies.

Additional Notes:

• If you experience connectivity issues, restart both the camera and your mobile device, then try again.
• Some functions may vary depending on the camera model and mobile device.
