How to connect the HDR-AS15 Action Cam to a mobile device to copy or upload images.

Before You Begin
- If you haven’t already downloaded Imaging Edge Mobile (the successor to PlayMemories Mobile), install it for free from your mobile device’s app store before proceeding.
- Ensure your camera has sufficient battery power before starting the process.
For HDR-AS15 Action Cams with Software Version 2.00 or Earlier
Step 1: Prepare the Camera
- Insert a memory card containing still images or movies into the camera.
- Press the NEXT button to turn on the camera.
- Press the NEXT button repeatedly until SEND is displayed.
- Press the ENTER button.

The message PREP will briefly appear, followed by AWAIT. This indicates that the Wi-Fi function is activated and ready to connect.
Step 2: Connect to a Mobile Device
For iOS Devices
- Open Settings on your mobile device.
- Select Wi-Fi and choose the camera from the available networks.
- Enter the password found on the sticker attached to the camera’s operating guide
- Launch Imaging Edge Mobile.
- Your mobile device is now connected and ready to transfer images or movies.
For Android Devices
- Launch Imaging Edge Mobile.
- Select the camera from the available devices.
- Enter the password found on the sticker attached to the camera’s operating guide
- Your mobile device is now connected and ready to transfer images or movies.
For HDR-AS15 Action Cams with Software Version 3.00 or Later
Step 1: Prepare the Camera
- Insert a memory card containing still images or movies into the camera.
- Press the NEXT button to turn on the camera.
- Press the NEXT button repeatedly until MOVIE is displayed.
- Press the ENTER button.
Step 2: Connect to a Mobile Device
For iOS Devices
- Open Settings on your mobile device.
- Select Wi-Fi and choose the camera from the available networks.
- Enter the password found on the sticker attached to the camera’s operating guide
- Launch Imaging Edge Mobile.
- Your mobile device is now connected and ready to transfer images or movies.
For Android Devices
- Launch Imaging Edge Mobile.
- Select the camera from the available devices.
- Enter the password found on the sticker attached to the camera’s operating guide
- Your mobile device is now connected and ready to transfer images or movies.
Additional Notes:
- If you experience connectivity issues, restart both the camera and your mobile device, then try again.
- Some functions may vary depending on the camera model and mobile device.
