My Google TV™ turns off while playing music via AirPlay from an iPhone
If your Google TV turns off while playing music via AirPlay, it's likely due to the power-saving Turn-off when inactive setting.
To enjoy music playback for a longer time, follow the steps below to change this setting via the Settings menu:
- On your TV remote control, press the Quick Settings button and select
Settings.
- Select System → Power and energy → Auto turn-off → Turn-off when inactive → Never.
Alternatively, you can set the Turn-off when inactive setting to a longer time.
Note: For environmental reasons, the default setting turns the TV off automatically after a period of inactivity. Music playback isn't detected as user activity, which is why the TV turns off.
