Some Sony Android TVs from the A8/A9x and XH90/92 series either come with differently positioned fixed stands or allow you to adjust the feet beneath the TV.
Picking the right stand position for your TV is particularly important if you're using a soundbar with your TV or if the TV stands on a narrow surface. Find out what options are available by clicking on your series below:
Available stand options
A8/A8x series
Two stand options are available:
- One slate / soundbar
- Rotate the feet attached to your TV to create enough room for your sound bar below the screen. Make sure the sound bar isn't covering the bottom part of your TV's display.
- Applicable models: KD-55A8, KD-65A8.

- Derivative central position (fixed stand)
- Derivative models come with a fixed stand with feet in the central position, which allows you to place your TV on a narrower surface.
- Applicable models: KD-55A85, KD-55A87, KD-55A89, KD-65A85, KD-65A87, KD-65A89.

XH95 series
Two stand options are available for each applicable model.
- There is no need to change the TV's feet. The feet can rotate towards the sides or the centre of the TV. The height of TV therefore remains the same.
- Applicable models: KD-55XH9505, KD-65XH9505, KD-75XH9505

XH90/92 series
Two stand options are available:
- Outer position (fixed stand)
- Applicable models: KD-55XH9005, KD-65XH900, KD-75XH9005

- Two-way position stand (outer / inner position)
- These models come with one pair of feet, which can be moved to either the outer (wide) or inner (narrow) position. The height of your TV will remain the same.
- The inner position allows you to place your TV on a narrower surface.
- Applicable models: KD-55XH9077, KD-55XH9096, KD-55XH9288, KD-55XH9296, KD-55XH9299, KD-65XH9077, KD-65XH9096, KD65XH9288, KD-65XH9296, KD-65XH9299, KD-75XH9096, KD-75XH9288, KD-75XH9296, KD-75XH9299, KD-85XH9096.
