Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) support
By connecting your TV to an eARC supported audio system with an HDMI cable, high-quality sound (that the TV cannot decode by itself) can be passed through to the supported device.
NOTE:
- Make sure to use a High-Speed HDMI cable with Ethernet.
- Your TV doesn't display the eARC connection status. To confirm if eARC is working, try playing an audio format only supported by eARC such as DTS-HD Master Audio or Dolby TrueHD, and then check your sound system display for confirmation.
