How can I test the picture and sound quality of my Television?

    Does your TV image or sound seem a bit off? ? If you feel there is something off with the picture or sound, there's an easy way to verify if something is wrong.


    How to perform the picture and sound test on your Sony television

    1. On the remote control, press the HELP button. You can also open the Help screen through your TV's Home menu:
      • Select HOME → Apps → Help.
        • For TVs with Android™ 7.0 or lower, Select HOME →  Help.
           
    2. Under Top support solutions, select Problem diagnosis.
      • If this option isn't available, proceed to the next step.
         
    3. Select Picture/Sound symptoms.
       
    4. Select Start.
      • Your TV plays a series of images and sounds to test the display and audio.
      • To cancel the test, press the BACK button on the remote.
         
    5. The message Picture and sound test is complete! appears on your TV screen at the end of the test.
       
    6. Select Finish to end the test.
      • To repeat the test, select Restart the test or Start again.
