Video noise appears in fast moving scenes when switching between scenes or at screen edges

The Motionflow function creates interpolated images to make the picture smooth. Therefore, video noise may appear in fast-moving scenes, or when switching between scenes on your TV. If there's too much noise, change the Motionflow settings.
Note: The display screen may differ depending on the model or operating system. The images below are just examples.
Motionflow adjustment
- Open the Settings menu. These options vary depending on the model of your TV.
- Using the Quick Settings button (For models released in 2019 or later):
- On the supplied remote, press the Quick Settings
button.
- Select the Settings
icon.
- On the supplied remote, press the Quick Settings
- Using the HOME menu button:
- On the supplied remote, press the HOME button.
- Select the Settings
icon.
- Using the Quick Settings button (For models released in 2019 or later):
- Adjust the Motionflow setting. This step will vary depending on your TV menu settings. Use the steps that best matches your menu::
- Select Picture settings → Picture → Motion → Motionflow.
- Select Display & Sound → Picture → Motion → Motionflow.
- Select Display & Sound → Picture → Advanced settings → Motion → Motionflow.
- Select Display → Picture → Advanced settings → Motion → Motionflow
- Select Picture & Display → Picture adjustments → Advanced settings → Motion → Motionflow.
- The video you're currently playing appears on the screen. While watching the video, use the arrow buttons on the remote to select a different mode that reduces the noise.
Note: If the issue still occurs, choose Custom and then adjust the Smoothness setting.
- Select Custom.
- Select Smoothness and press the left or right button to change the level.
Note: If the noise still isn't reduced, set Motionflow to Off or Clear.
- Select Custom.
