The connected USB device does not charge when connected to the Bluetooth portable speaker
Check the following if the USB device such as smartphone connected to the Bluetooth speaker does not charge:
IMPORTANT: Each of these steps represents a possible solution to this issue. Check if the connected USB device is charging after completing each step.
- Make sure that the USB device is securely connected to the USB-A port
of the Bluetooth speaker.
NOTES:- The USB device will not charge when connected to the USB-B port
of the Bluetooth speaker.
- Not all speakers have USB-A or USB-B port. For details on the port that you can charge a USB device, refer to the manual supplied with the product.
- The USB device will not charge when connected to the USB-B port
- Alternatively, an unsupported USB device is connected. Make sure that the USB device is compatible with the Bluetooth speaker.
NOTE: It is recommended to charge the USB device while the speaker is connected to a power outlet using the AC adapter. If the AC adaptor is not connected, the connected USB device may not charge.
