Unable to connect to the Internet when IPv6 is enabled.

Error: Please check your internet connection appears.

    This error message may appear if the Internet Service Provider (ISP) or the website is not compatible with (IPv6).

    Note: if your TV is running Android 8.0 Oreo or above, the IPv6 setup (ON/OFF) setting is no longer available. 

    For Android TV

    1. First, check the Network status.

      1. Press the HOME button on the remote.
      2. Select Settings.
      3. Select Network in the NETWORK & ACCESSORIES categories.
      4. Select Advanced settings.
      5. Select Network status.
    2. If the Internet Access field displays IPv4:OK IPv6:Failed, set IPv6 to Off by following these steps.

      1. Press the HOME button on the remote.
      2. Select Settings.
      3. Select Network in the NETWORK & ACCESSORIES categories.
      4. Select Advanced settings.
      5. Select IPv6 setup.
      6. For Do you want to enable IPv6? select No.

    For models released in 2014

    Set the IPv6 to Off by following these steps:

    1. Press the HOME button on the remote.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select Network.
    4. Select IPv6 Setup.
    5. Select Set up IPv6 connection.
    6. Select No.
