What is REON POCKET
REON POCKET is a wearable thermal device that can directly cool or warm the part of the body that the device is in contact with.
It supports both cooling and warming, so it can be used in both the summer and the winter

SMART COOL⇔WARM MODE
When connected with REON POCKET (RNP-3, RNP-4, & RNP-5), it can detect both the temperature inside the clothing and the temperature around the device.
This is how it automatically adjusts the cooling or warming temperature to suit the environment.Furthermore, the SMART COOL⇔WARM MODE detects environmental changes and automatically switches between COOL and WARM, so no manual operation is required.
The device automatically adjusts itself to suit changes in the environment, even during seasons with extreme temperature changes or days with large temperature differences.
The cooling temperature is automatically adjusted according to motion, environmental changes and your personal preferences set up in the app.
Temperature and humidity sensors in the main unit detect increases in humidity due to perspiration and other factors, and the temperature automatically adjusts accordingly.
Furthermore, when connected with the REON POCKET TAG (RNPT-1)*1, you can also use the SMART COOL⇔WARM MODE function for automatic switching between COOL and WARM.
For example, the device automatically adjusts itself to suit changes in the environment not only in summer, but also during changing seasons where the weather is a mix of both hot and cold throughout the day.

AUTO START/STOP
With the AUTO START/STOP function, it is possible to start and stop the device automatically without the need to operate a smartphone. The device automatically starts cooling/warming when you simply attach it at the base of your neck, and the device automatically stops when removed and placed on a table, etc
REON POCKET Sensing Technology
Five sensors detect temperature, humidity and motion
Three temperature sensors and one temperature and humidity sensor detect the temperature and humidity. In addition, the acceleration sensor detects motion. The device provides situation-specific adjustments, based on the information detected by these sensors.
Thermal design technology to draw out maximum performance
Sony's thermal design technology, which we have accumulated by designing mobile devices, has been freely incorporated into the REON POCKET.
The heat dissipation mechanism, which was designed using hundreds of simulations, draws out the best performance from the thermal device, which has been newly developed for the purpose of cooling and warming human skin.
The REON POCKET is equipped with a thermal module known as a Peltier element. The Peltier element is a semiconductor module that cools down on one side and warms up on the other when electricity is passed through it. When used on COOL, the REON POCKET sustains cooling by using a fan to expel heat from the warm side.
*The fan does not operate when used on WARM.
Splash- and sweat-resistant structure
Various internal components have been sealed effectively, and the device is designed to be dust and splash resistant to prevent ingress of water droplets and dust, allowing use in harsh conditions.
*This does not completely prevent ingress of sweat or water droplets.
A neckband that brings out the full performance of the main unit

The included dedicated neckband can be adjusted to suit neck size and angle.The REON POCKET's cooling/warming section stays in close contact with your body and provides stability that prevents the device from shifting when you move around.Suitable for a wide range of neck sizes from 34 cm to 46 cm.

Triple-layer construction for both hold and flexibility
The newly designed band is flexible enough to be freely adjustable, yet firm enough to keep itself in the chosen position.The adjustable flexible mechanical tube, shape-holding wire frame and the silicone that covers them provide a soft, comfortable feel even when worn for long periods of time.
Supports usage with portable chargers
By powering the REON POCKET via USB using a portable battery or laptop computer, etc., you can use it for an even longer period of time.
