The people smile as they select different suggested enhanced image options with different colour tones and contrast. They select an option, and the screen splits to show the “Original” and the selected “AI Camera Assistant” option, with enhanced skin tones and contrast and a smooth defocused background. A montage of “AI Camera Assistant” portraits is displayed, then the camera spins around the people to transition to one of the people in a café, capturing a shot of a colourful plate of food.

As they prepare to capture an image, they can select from a range of “AI Camera Assistant” suggested variations of colour, tone, and zoom level. The shot transitions from the Xperia screen to a split screen showing the suggested images, with the caption “AI Camera Assistant” and the camera zooming in. A row of images reveals the “Original” and various “AI Camera Assistant” variations.

We transition from a shot of them smiling as they look at their “AI Camera Assistant” photo to a daytime shot of the other person twirling and smiling in a field of golden-coloured tall grass. They smile and poses as the camera turns to a person, who smiles back at them and takes a portrait of them against the grass. The screen splits to show the “Original” and “AI Camera Assistant” enhanced version with the grass in front and behind their defocused, natural skin tones, and vibrant colour. A series of other images shows them and the scenery enhanced with the AI Camera Assistant, before cutting past the couple smiling and browsing images on their Xperia to a person walking through a night-time city scene.

A large image sensor labelled “Xperia 1 VIII”, zooms onto a black backdrop, and is joined by a much smaller version, labelled “Previous Model”, and the caption “Approx. 4x larger telephoto sensor”. The large sensor slots into place next to a complex-looking lens construction in an exposed graphic of the Xperia’s camera bump.

The Xperia spins in the background, then transitions back to the person’s hand as they capture images of vividly lit buildings. Several images of the mother and children are captured, and they smile as the father shares them on the Xperia screen.

The shot transitions to a low angle shot of an Xperia 1 VIII being pulled from a person's pocket in a daytime city scene. The camera closely tracks the Xperia as wired headphones are connected to the “3.5 mm audio jack” on top of the device. The Xperia spins into a graphic of the high-quality internal headphone circuit, then returns to the person, who smiles as they listen to music through wired headphones.

The person turns to walk away, and we cut to various buildings before returning to one of the original people, this time in a bright daylit city scene, watching a video on their Xperia with the caption “Bright display even under sunlight”.

The camera zooms in on the back of their Xperia, then cuts to the other person lying on a bed at night, listening to music through the “Full-stage stereo speakers,” with waves of sound simulating clear stereo separation and dynamics.
