This video introduces the Xperia 1 VII smartphone and its key features.
Under a moody electronic drum beat soundtrack, it opens with an animated Xperia 1 VII, followed by shots of the device rotating on a black background to highlight design features, including the trio of rear camera lenses with the caption “Powered by Alpha™” along with the ALPHA logo.
The device rotates slightly, under the caption “New Ultra-wide lens / 2.1x bigger sensor (Compared with the previous model)”.
Light beams leap from above to hit two image sensors, revealed behind the lens array as the device’s body becomes translucent. A caption reads, “Full-frame equivalent images in low light / 16 mm and 24 mm”.

A caption reads “Optical Telephoto zoom lens” under a close-up shot of one of the rear lens, then the trio of lenses turn in the frame and are positioned beside captions “16 mm Ultra-wide 1/1.56” sensor / 24 mm, 48 mm wide 1/1.35 sensor / 85-170 mm Telephoto 1/3.5 sensor”, along with logos for ‘Exmor T for mobile’ and ‘ZEISS’.
The Xperia continues to turn, revealing the dedicated “Shutter button” and, as a light beam hits it from the edge of the screen, the “New Illuminance sensor” near the rear camera array.
A shot reveals colourful clouds on the display as it rotates into a landscape position, under the caption “Powered by BRAVIA™ along with the BRAVIA logo.
(Compared with the previous model)
A quick montage of shots lead into energetic sound waves emanating from the two sides of the landscape display, with the caption “Full-stage stereo speakers”, then the Xperia floats into components and the shot cuts to an image of the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.

Cutting to a close-up of another internal processor chip, the caption reads “Powered by Walkman®” with the WALKMAN logo. As the camera pans away from the chip, beams representing audio signals move towards a 3.5mm wired headphone audio jack plugged into the top of the device, with the caption “3.5 mm Audio jack.”
Shots highlight the textured glass back panel of the device, then as it becomes transparent, the shape of the internal battery is revealed with the caption “5,000 mAh 2 days of battery life”.

The actual battery performance may vary depending on your usage and environment.)
The optional available device colours are then highlighted, including “Moss green”, “Orchid purple”, and “Slate black”. Several more shots of Xperia 1 VII devices from different angles follow, highlighting the premium design, before arriving at a close-up of the lens array, surrounded by a list of all key features previously listed, plus “Tactile design”, “Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus® 2” and “Water resistant”.
This then transitions through an Xperia ‘dots’ animation to a product shot of the three available colours and the Xperia 1 VII logo, before ending with the Sony animated logo.
