I've had the A90K for 3 weeks and find it superior to my old tv. Setting it up with external inputs is tricky even being a moderately tech savy person. HDMI randomly fails handshake as did attached soundbar. This is not TV fault more of the limits of the technology I'm told. This probably true when coupled to more than one hdmi input on my case 2 android devices. CoPilot was my saviour in fine tuning the set up which has educated me into the complexities of the connectivity of these devices. I have no hesitation of recommending this TV sound and picturr quality are outstanding. TV channel guide/tuner leave a lot to be desired when compared to modern front end IPTV apps and perhaps this is the difference that Google TV has put upon us. The Sony guide is the better choice from day 1 and clearly works, but if you're an avid TV viewer only (terrestial) you may be a little disappointed. Another disappointing think is having 2 different remotes without explanation one with coloured buttons and numeric pad the other is more streamlined with keys for Netflix, Disney, Prime Video... confusing having to shuffle remotes. Of course a third handpicked for the excellent HT2000 sound bar. To close without the soundbar this TV has excellent sound features my high frequency hearing is reducing and this TV can boost speech above the other sounds in a broadcast....outstanding.

Picture quality and performance in general is excellent - I’m puzzled why Sony didn’t give us enough memory to store more apps leaving us with apps that we don’t need but can’t uninstall to leave space for the ones we do want.

This is a very good tv. The picture, sound and features are excellent. One aspect that falls short is the programme guide. The screen display is too small and can’t be easily read from a normal tv viewing distance, requiring you to move closer to the tv to read the text, and this is very annoying. Also the display is multi coloured which is distracting and confusing.

El producto está en garantía y he llamado, he enviado varios mails para que un técnico revisase el sistema general de la TV porque a veces se apaga ella sola. Al mismo tiempo el Bluetooth no funciona correctamente. Vino un chico y no hizo ninguna revisión y solo porque conectó un auricular en ese momento dijo que funcionaba bien, pero una vez se fue el Bluetooth dejó de funcionar y sigue sin funcionar. Después de esto ¿ qué hago con el TV? La experiencia me aconseja no volver a comprar un TV SONY.

I purchased my new Sony OLED TV a couple of weeks ago and I have to say it’s the best decision I could have made. The picture clarity whilst watching anything produced in 4K is fantastic. This product is so good it's almost dangerous. It was pretty easy to get going and easy to control. What made my jaw open wide was streaming 4k images. It was remarkable in its clarity, contrast and colour. The sound coming from the screen is very effective. There is an assumption that the TV needs a sound bar. Possibly if you watch films containing lots of explosions, but for normal entertainment the sounds is exceptionally clear.

Wheb working properly it is a good product. I have continual problems with it dealing with the incoming internet having to go online and search for a cause and remedy as the tv does not connect to wired wifi on a ad hoc basis. There are no clear instructions on how to remedy these faults.It is not my incoming signal that is the problem but the tv setup. Lack of a clear manual or where to find one online is frustrating and time wasting, as I stated a good( When it works properly). This does not and lack of clear precise instructions are a big failure when things go wrong. I would like to switch it on and find it working this is not always the case. I say again it is not the incoming signal that is at fault but the tv. like

Ik heb dit apparaat gekocht als vervanging voor een LED TV van een ander gerenommeerd merk. Deze TV stak in de visuele vergelijking qua beeldkwaliteit ver boven andere vergelijkbare TV-merken uit en dat niet als gevolg van een opgekrikte presentatie. In 1975 was mijn eerste TV een Sony, daarna tot eind 2025 verschillende andere goede merken in gebruik gehad vanwege plaatsingen in het buitenland. TV-Gerät ist gut. In Verpackung nur Bedienungsanleitung, wie man TV-Fuß befestigt und wie man Kabel an TV anschließt. Sehr sehr negativ -> Keine Bedienungsanleitung in Verpackung, wie man Gerät einstellt, wie man TV-Favoritenliste erstellt, usw. Habe bei Verkäufer nachgefragt. Er kann nicht helfen, weil Saturn keinen TV-Sender-Anschluss mehr hat. Auch Verkäufer fand im Internet keine Bedienungsanleitung zum kostenlosen Download. Nein, eine bessere Bewertung kann nicht vorgenommen werden. So eine Situation kann nur Abschreckung für einen evtl. Kauf von Sony-TV-Geräten sein. Keine Kauf-Empfehlung für andere Personen.

This television has solved two problems we were having in viewing dramas and films. We can now see what is happening in shots taken in low light and we can hear what actors are saying even when there is loud intrusive "background" music. I sought advise about buying a Sony Bravia 18 inch TV from John Lewis. The lady on the telephone said she could get their TV department to telephone me!! After a week of waiting I had noone contactvme. So I then went straight to Sony. Their response was superb!! They answered my questions about the TV and also offered me £100 off and free delivery. We bought this on a recommendation from John Lewis - excellent picture and great sound and perfectly installed by JL - the one drawback is that you watch TV through apps only - there is no guide or live TV facility unless you plug something else in - some apps like ITVX does not provide live TV option so we have had to re plug our EE box in - which we were told we could now do without - to get live TV and a TV guide. It would be helpful if someone had pointed this out.

Our first OLED screen and it is fantastic, especially for showing 4K UHD movies. Very grateful that Sony make the 48" OLED TV as we could not have the 55" and above in our sitting room. I purchased this Sony Bravia XR A90K a few weeks ago from Amazon. Although quite happy with item, i purchased it not only for the expensive purchase it was and quality, but to claim my added 5 year warranty. I am quite disgusted that due to purchasing it from Amazon and not from an actual store, that i can't activate my extended 5 year warranty. I have tried everything i can posibly think of, even phoning Sony themselves but find it disgusting that they would do nothing to activate extended warranty!

The TV was easy to set up. It has two remote controls - one has fewer buttons but does all the common stuff. The other looks more like a “standard” remote control and I guess will allow me to do some things more easily. The GoogleTV part of this was easy to set up, and we got on line very easily. Picture quality is fantastic compared with what we had been used to, and the sound quality is great, too.

Lovely TV. Superb picture and I really wanted a Google TV so I could put apps on it (to get rid of bloatware + do proper streaming from my NAS drive). job done! Issues preventing 5 stars only one really - an integrated short power cable you can't change - I was wall mounting the tv so want a longer cable - had to splice the mains wire which I assume voids the guarantee. Unacceptable on such an expensive TV in my view! Oh - and the TV is quite thick compared to some newer TVs - I don't care, but if thats your thing,.....

I have had Sony Bravia's down the years, Sony camera's Sony Video camera's, sound systems, sound bars, photoframes etc etc....utter Sonyphile based on quality and performance...........right up until the last KD 3D TV....this I recently "upgraded" to this model.....what a disappointment...spent a great deal of money etc etc....Google TV....cannot alter aspect ratio on smart tv...only on external inputs....so example BBC I Player wrong aspect, looks weird....if 2016P selected, great in UHD with Sky etc....but change to normal TV ....poor picture....need to change to 1080P everytime....really wish I hadn't bothered....hopefully others will see what a trial you will have....very disappointed. No more Sony for me on anything now....

Picture and sound quality very good, strong depth of colour. Assembly of the stand legs, particularly screwing legs into deeply recessed holes in the back of the TV was a real challenge took 40 minutes of cursing!! Needs a redesign.

The picture is Clear vibrant, colours are excellent. Remote control buttons are very small, channel menu tv guide button is placed in the wrong position and much to small. No instruction book, remote receiver needs to be at the top of the tv unit. The program guide list / text is much to small so needs to be larger / more readable like our previous Panasonic TV. We brought this Sony TV because the Satellite Guide Text is in the Freesat sensible order like our previous Panasonic.

One of the few "small" 4k tvs available I am very happy with my purchase. An excellent quality picture and, though quite complicated to set up, I was impressed with the way it automatically tuned in to my sony av system. Upscaling dvds in fantastic too. I've had Sony tvs for decades and they have all been top quality.

Had this TV for a couple of weeks now. Picture quality is very good. Was told at purchase that it didn't need a sound bar. Not sure that is correct as the sound, at times, is not all that loud. At start-up, I have noticed that sometimes the speech is out of sync with the picture. Not sure if that is the program or the TV. a quick flick through other channels then back to the first program we looked at seems to fix it but it does seem a little odd that this occurs. Would be nice if the stand was easier to assemble or even ready attached. The stand it comes with is a dust trap unfortunately. Overall though, happy with my purchase even with the high price tag!

Love my new TV. A good size for a small London sitting room. Good sound quality, pleasing wide screen ratio is elegantly rectangular. Home page is well laid out and not too busy. Bought it to watch the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics so did the install myself. I am a non technical person and though the instructions are somewhat complicated I was able to work it out in the end. I definitely needed a second person to help lift the TV out of the box and on to the supports. So happy.
