I bought this about 10 days ago. It is a simple as plug n play. It allows you to use hand gestures to change the volume, fast forward or change programmes, it is also fun to switch off the TV when the remote has ‘disappeared’. It monitors when and where you are in the room and adjusts sound and lighting accordingly. Looking forward to using it with AirPlay 2 for group chats.

HO trovato l'articolo perfettamente inutile sul mio tv Sony Bravia 65 8M2 Praticamente non ho notato nessun cambiamento/regolazione promessa. L'utilizzo della funzionalità "gesti" è problematica e trovo molto più utile avere a portata di mano il telecomando. Ho richiesto la restituzione che è stata accettata ma guarda casa attendo ancora da 10 giorni che "un agente incaricato" sony mi contatti.

Compré este producto para mejorar el sonido y la imagen en función a la ubicación que mantenemos delante de la televisión. La instalación fue muy sencilla, la televisión la reconoció rápidamente, la actualizó y la configuró en pocos pasos.. En cuanto a la imagen, se adapta en brillo y es mucho más cómoda. El sonido aparentemente parece “adaptarse” (no teníamos grandes esperanzas porque empleamos un home cinema Sony 5.1por el que emite el audio de manera predeterminada y no se especifica esta posibilidad, aunque nos da la sensación de que lo hace). Aunque solo por la adaptación del brillo automática ya a recomendamos 100l%

Acheté en commun avec une BRAVIA 9, la caméra apporte sont petit lot de fonctionnalités comme l'adaptation de l'image et du son en fonction de la distance et du nombre d'usagers, l'alerte de proximité, et l'écran qui s'atténue en l'absence de personnes.... Cependant pour la visioconférence, la qualité est plutôt moyenne

bought few days ago and trid alsorts to use. no updtion noo online help wont connect to usb. had to use a webcam app from internet which worked but now uses to infastructure of bravia webcam. returning it if sony will hlp to hontact as it so not viable to chat to some one

Die Cam reagiert auf die Handgesten viel zu träge und funktioniert überhaupt nicht, wenn der Raum nicht zusätzlich beleuchtet wird. Das Vor- und Zurückspulen funktioniert viel zu grob (zu große Zeiteinheiten). Für diesen Preis wirklich eine Frechheit! Sehr interessant auch das Kleingedruckte zum CES® 2022 Best of Innovation Award für dieses Produkt: "Die Verleihung der CES Innovation Awards basiert auf Materialien, die an die Jury übergeben werden. CTA hat die Genauigkeit der Einsendungen oder Behauptungen nicht geprüft. Zudem wurde die Funktion des Produkts, das die Auszeichnung erhalten hat, nicht getestet." Hätte die Jury das Produkt wirklich getestet, wäre die Auszeichnung bestimmt gar nicht erst vergeben worden!

Ik heb deze Sony-cam gekocht als aanvulling bij de Sony 5580L. Het ziet er heel handig uit om te gebruiken, maar het werkt niet goed. De handsignalen komen gewoon niet goed aan.

Hardware lijkt tot nu toe dik in orde maar mis nog een heleboel samenwerking met apps om de camera te gebruiken. Maar misschien zijn er meer dan ik kan vinden want die documentatie / hulp is echt beneden alle peil.

I bought the Camera to enhance my new Sony bravia 55 in television. The camera sits nearly at top centre with a small lip bracket and plugs into the TVs USB port. Setup was quick and easy the Sony recognise the camera and started the setup and tutorial. Easy to use hand gestures to control volume, power off, and much more. Can be used as a webcam using an app. The auto person recognition for setting the volume balance and seat position worked well. The cam adjusts the TV brightness and power saving features. The firmware for the cam updates via the TV notification and is simple keeping the system bugs and fixes latest version

Lo compré este mes y la verdad, prometía mucho en la publicidad, pero creo que no está a la altura. Lo más llamativo, que es el control por gestos es muy lento e impreciso y resulta mucho más útil levantarte a buscar el mando a distancia, que controlar el televisor mediante este aparato. El ajuste de sonido e imagen según tu posición la verdad es que resulta imposible saber si lo está ejecutando o no /(tal vez lo haga tan bien que resulte impercetible) En cualquier caso no está a la altura de la excelente calidad del televisor.

Misleading Product with USB that should be HDMI

I bought this for my elderly parents to have on their TV it arrived with a USB connector all the setup help indicates that it should have an HDMI connector. I'm spending £15 buying connectors in the hope that I can get it to work. It is misleading because its supposed to be an HDMI connection and its not.
