How to connect my Sony Bluetooth Headphones or Earbuds - pairing procedures explained

Step 1. Enter the headphones into pairing mode (make them discoverable)
- When you pair the headphones with a device for the first time or after initializing, the headphones automatically enter pairing mode when you put them on. You will hear a notification sound and the voice guidance saying Pairing from both units.
- To pair the headphones with a second device:
- Place the headphones into the charging case.
Note: Leave the lid of the charging case open.
- Press and hold the pairing button for at least 5 seconds. The indicator on the charging case flashes blue twice in a row and the headphones enter pairing mode. If you put on the headphones, you will hear a notification sound and the voice guidance saying Pairing from both units.
- Place the headphones into the charging case.
Step 2. Complete the Bluetooth connection on your source device (e.g. smartphone)
- Access the Bluetooth settings of the device you want to connect your headphones to.
- There should be an option to "Scan" or "Search for Devices". This starts a scan for nearby detectable Bluetooth devices.
- If your Sony headphones are in "pairing mode", it will show up in the list of available devices.
- Select your headphones and the Bluetooth connection will be established.
