Brightness Settings / The TV screen is too bright

You can lower the screen brightness on your TV even when the brightness is set at the lowest setting.

Lower the brightness

Select Custom in the Picture mode, then adjust the Brightness to Min.

1. Press the Quick Settings button on your TV remote control.
2. Press the Left arrow button to select Picture mode.
   NOTE: If you use the TalkBack feature, press the Enter button.
3. Press the Down arrow button to select Custom.
4. Select Brightness by pressing the Right arrow button.
   NOTE: If you use the TalkBack feature, press the Enter button.
5. Press the Down arrow button to select Min.

Minimise contrast

Reducing contrast can lower the brightness but effectiveness is dependent on the content. To reduce contrast:

1. Press the Quick Settings button on your TV remote control.
2. Press the Left arrow button to select Picture settings and then press the Enter button.
3. Press the Down arrow button to select Brightness and then press the Enter button.
4. Press the Down arrow button to select Contrast.
   NOTE: If you use the TalkBack feature, press the Enter button, and press the Right arrow button twice, and then press the Enter button.
5. Press the Left arrow button to select Min.
