YouTube™ App doesn't launch, freezes, or Error message appears
Error: YouTube has stopped appears suddenly on the TV screen./ When YouTube is launched, it does not proceed from the first screen./ Error: Error 400 appears when launching the YouTube app from All Apps./ Cannot watch YouTube by using the Internet Browser.

The issue is now resolved. A temporary connection failure occurred. If the issue persists, try the following.
Your TV type determines the steps to follow to resolve an issue.
- Sony's Android TV™ and Google TV™
- Other than Sony's Android TV / Google TV (released in 2013 and 2014)
- Other than Sony's Android TV / Google TV (released in 2015 or later)

If the issue persists, it may be resolved by initializing the YouTube app using the following procedure.
NOTE: The display screen may differ depending on your TV model or OS version.
- Open the
Settings screen. How to access the Settings
- The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
- Select Apps → See all apps.
- Select Apps.
- Select YouTube.
- Select Clear data.
- Choose OK.
- Select Clear cache.
- Choose OK.
- Select Force stop.
- Launch YouTube app from Home screen.
- If the above steps do not help to resolve the issue, restoring the YouTube app to its factory settings may resolve the issue:

- The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
- Select Apps → See all apps.
- Select Apps.
- Select YouTube → Uninstall updates → OK.
- Launch YouTube app from Home screen.
- Open the

If the issue persists, it may be resolved by initializing the Internet Browser app using the following procedure.
- Press the HOME button on the remote control.
- Select Application.
- Select Internet Browser.
- Press OPTIONS on the remote control.
- Select Browser Settings.
- Select Delete all Cookies.
- Choose Yes.
NOTE: Once this issue occurs, it may continue to occur even after the temporary connection failure is resolved. The procedure above is the solution for such cases.

If the issue persists, it may be resolved by performing Initialize Personal Information using the following procedure.
- Press the HOME button on the remote control.
- Select Settings.
- Select Customer Support.
- Select Initialize Personal Information.
- Choose OK.
