    In the Settings menu, select AccessibilityCaptions.

    Once Accessibility is selected, the focus of the selection jumps to the Accessibility feature menu, and then the Captions item is selected.

    From here you can enable global closed captions for cable, antenna, and streaming content.

    The Captions menu is displayed which contains the items Cable/Antenna and Streaming & other content, and then Streaming & other content is selected.

    Once enabled, a variety of customizable options will be available to tailor the look of the captions if desired.
