YouTube screen automatically switches to TV broadcast or turns black
Steps leading to the issue
The issue happens when using the YouTube app in the following order:
- Start the YouTube app.
- Select any video and play it.
- The screen automatically switches to the TV broadcast screen, the home screen, or goes black.
- After step 3, it may not be possible to launch the YouTube app or switch to TV broadcasting.
Troubleshooting
- Perform Clear Data and Clear Cache for the YouTube app.
Note: All data associated with this app will be permanently deleted, including files, settings, accounts, databases, etc. - Restart the TV using the remote control's POWER button (long press), or unplug the power cord for 2 minutes and then plug it back in again.

Note: When you restart the TV, it discharges power and deletes any unnecessary data stored in its memory. In most cases, the TV will function normally after the unnecessary data has been cleared. - Check for updates to the YouTube app.
