How to use the TalkBack feature on your TV

IMPORTANT: This article applies only to specific products and/or operating systems. Check Applicable Products and Categories for details.

The TalkBack feature works by vocalising (reading out) the information on the TV screen, such as the programme guide and setting screen. It also explains the selected item in detail, including what it is and how you can use it. Keep in mind that an Internet connection is required to use the TalkBack feature.

    Notes:

    • The TalkBack feature is continuously being improved. At the moment, some features on your TV may work better with the Screen Reader.
    • When the TalkBack feature is ON, you will not be able to edit the INPUT or Quick settings.
    • For eARC supported models only: When the TalkBack feature is activated, eARC mode will be Off.
    • The Accessibility shortcut function can switch the TalkBack feature from active to inactive.
