PlayStation Network (PSN) users: I can’t log in to my account using my sign-in ID (email address)

If you’re having trouble logging into your PlayStation Network (PSN) account using your sign-in ID (email address), it may be caused by one of the following issues:

    • The email address registered to your account has been deleted or no longer exists.
    • You’re trying to log in to an inactive or suspended PSN account.
    • Your sign-in ID and/or password is incorrect, or you can’t remember your login details.
    • You may need to clear the browser cookies (for playstation.net).
      • If you see the error message "This device sent too many requests to the server. Please try again later.", try the steps below:
        • Go to Browser Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies → See all site data and permissions → search for "playstation.net" → Delete.

In this case, you'll need to update your login information.

    1. Follow the instructions in this PlayStation Support article: How to change your PlayStation sign-in ID (email address).
    2. If your issue isn’t listed, scroll to the bottom of the article and select [Contact PlayStation Support]. You'll be directed to the Topics menu.
    3. Select the most relevant topic and follow the instructions.
    4. If your issue still isn’t resolved, you may need to contact a PlayStation support specialist. The recommended contact method will be displayed at the bottom of the page (i.e. Live chat).
