Notice regarding incorrect display of screen resolution settings menu for Xperia 1 V

It has come to our attention that after upgrading to Android 15, the screen resolution settings menu is incorrectly displayed within the settings menu of the Xperia 1 V smartphone.

In response, we will implement a software update to remove the screen resolution settings menu and revert any changes to the screen resolution settings. We’d like to ask customers who own an Xperia 1 V to update to the latest software. The release timing of the software may vary depending on your carrier. 

Your Xperia 1 V is equipped with a 4K display, and 4K content displays automatically in 4K regardless of the screen resolution settings in the menu. Therefore, you can continue enjoying 4K content even after the software update mentioned above!
