    For Network Walkman owners, we offer MP3 File Manager Ver.2.0 program which can transfer MP3 files by dragging and dropping them to the Network Walkman.

    Please read the following instructions carefully to execute the program properly.

    These drivers support the following product:

    • NW-E103/E105/E107/E403/E405/E407/E503/E505/E507

    They have the following system requirements:

    • OS: Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005/Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004/Windows XP Media Center Edition/Windows XP Professional/Windows XP Home Edition/Windows 2000 Professional(SP3 or later)/Windows Millennium Edition (Except Simplified Chinese Version)/ Windows 98 Second Edition (Except Simplified Chinese Version)
    • CPU: Pentium II 400MHz or higher
    • RAM: 64MB or more
    • HDD: 5MB or more
    • Display: 800 × 600 16 bit or more
    • USB

    Install

    Please follow the steps below to download the MP3 File Manager Installer or/and PA_Driver.exe:

    1. Create a folder to store the downloaded files on your hard disc. In the procedure below, we assume that this folder is created as C:\mp3_Inst.
    2. Click Download below to accept the disclaimer and download the following files:
      • Driver: PA_driver.exe (if necessary)

        If SonicStage has been installed in your computer (using the bundled CD-ROM), you do not need to download PA_Driver.exe

      • MP3 File Manager:
        • MP3FMv2_ENG.exe

        After the download is completed, select Views , and then Details in the Explorer to check the file size. If the file size is not the same as the file size showing above, try to download the file again.

    3. Install the driver (if necessary):

      If SonicStage is not installed in your computer using the bundled CD-ROM, install PA_Driver.exe before installing MP3 File Manager Installer. Follow the steps below.

      1. Exit all the applications.
      2. Click Start and click Run.
      3. Browse to C:\mp3_Inst\PA_Driver.exe and click OK. Then, the InstallShield Wizard window appears.
      4. Follow the onscreen message.
      5. The message Setup has finished installing Personal Audio Driver on your computer is displayed when the update is finished.
      6. Then, click Finish. After installing the PA_Driver.exe, the unit can be connected to the computer.
    4. MP3 File Manager Installer:
      1. Exit all the applications.
      2. Connect the unit to your computer with the supplied dedicated USB cable.
      3. Click Start and then click Run.
      4. Browse to
        • MP3FMv2_ENG.exe
      5. Follow the dialog and go to the next screen.
      6. Select the drive Removable Disk (E:) in the drop-down list box and go to the next screen.
      7. A drive letter (E:) varies depending on a computer environment.
      8. If Removable Disk (E:) does not appear in the drop-down list box, disconnect the unit and connect it again to the computer.
      9. Follow the onscreen message.
      10. The screen is displayed MP3 File Manager installation complete.
    5. After installation, check if the MP3FileManager.exe software and related files in the MP3FM folder are successfully installed into the Network Walkman, follow the steps below:
      1. Open My Computer, and double-click the Removable Disk (E:) to show inside the built-in flash memory of the unit.
      2. Double-click the MP3FM folder to open it. If all of the following files are stored in the MP3FM folder, the MP3 File Manager software is successfully installed:
      3. Double-click MP3FileManager.exe and then launch MP3 File Manager.
