End of support for some Walkman® functions: Sony | Sound Connect to discontinue support for Android 9 (effective April 2025)

Sony | Sound Connect app: Support for Android 9 ending

Thank you for your continued interest in Sony products.

We would like to inform you that support for the Sony | Sound Connect app (previously known as Sony | Headphones Connect) on Android 9 will end in April 2025.

Consequently, certain Portable Music Players (Walkman®) will not receive updates for new versions of Sony | Sound Connect after April 2025, and features from these updates will be inaccessible. However, you can continue using the features currently available to you.

• NW-A100 series

Functions no longer available

• You will not be able to install or update to new versions of Sony | Sound Connect after April 2025.
• You will not be able to use Sony | Sound Connect to connect with new products launched after April 2025.
